One Year Anniversary!!

It's been ONE year since I set up this blog. It's been one year since I last made my first dollhouse gift for my DS. This year, I made this birthday card for her, using the kawasaki roses idea. Hope she likes it :)
Happy Birthday, DS!

Kawasaki Rose Origami

Saw some beautiful paper roses during Chinese New Year at my aunt's place. Very beautiful. I have never imagined that such pretty roses can be folded out of ONE piece of paper. So I went to the website to search for the instruction. Wow, there are so many versions. I love this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jwtSYPbvSU

Take a look and try it yourself!

久违了!好久不“见"!

Hello, it has been a long time since I last updated my craft blog.
I haven't been very active in creating new stuff, except for making some birthday cards and wedding card. But I forgot to take pictures of them, so can't show off :(

However, I did make a pop-up card from http://cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/3205/c00014/index.html

Hope you like it and try it yourself!

Strawberry Cakes Boxes

My latest craft is not miniatures. I have been making the Strawberry Cakes boxes, that I mail ordered through my Korean friend. The ribbons were not provided though. Anyway, I gotten all these beautiful ribbons from the shops along Arab Street.

I only managed to rushed out one slice of cake for my SIL as a Christmas gift box. The rest may be used as CNY's goodies container.

** SIL = Sister-In-Law ** CNY = Chinese New Year =D

Japanese Paper Dolls

This craft reminded me of my uni days, where I made the Japanese paper dolls with Damien, Shian Jan, Kok Tiong for some school fun-fare. Sweet memories .. ^^..

Hope to keep in-touch with them...
Anyway, gotten the materials from Takayama last year, but did not made them until a year later

Mini Chairs Ear-rings

I first saw mini chairs earring in KL airport, where a sales girl was wearing them. I was fascinated, and asked where she bought it. She mentioned someplace which I ave never heard of.

On my next few trips to KL, I would visit that shop to see if that sales girl was there. Of course that was stupid as I don't even remember her face. I was only searching for the girl with THAT ear-rinmg.

Then, I make an effort to look for this ear-ring everytime I window shopped back home. And guess WHAT!! I found it in SEOUL!! Yeah!! You have no idea how happy I was and am!!
